Licensing Terms

AIJOSH publishes its articles under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). This license permits noncommercial sharing and adaptation, subject to attribution and ShareAlike requirements.

1. Permitted Uses

Users may:

  • Share: Reproduce and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

  • Adapt: Modify, translate, remix, or build upon the material.

These permissions apply to noncommercial uses only. Separate permission is unnecessary for uses covered by the license. These freedoms cannot be revoked while users comply with its terms.

Commercial uses require separate permission from the relevant copyright holder unless otherwise permitted by law.

2. Conditions of Reuse

Users must comply with the following conditions:

  • Attribution: Credit the authors, acknowledge AIJOSH as the original publication source, link to the license, and identify any modifications. Include the article’s citation and DOI or source link where available, and retain applicable copyright and licensing notices.

  • NonCommercial: Do not use the material for purposes primarily intended for commercial advantage or monetary compensation.

  • ShareAlike: When distributing adaptations, including translations, license the adapted material under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 or a license recognized by Creative Commons as compatible.

Attribution must not imply endorsement by the authors, journal, or publisher.

Users must not impose legal conditions or technological barriers that restrict others from exercising the licensed rights.

3. Third-Party Material

The article’s license covers third-party material only where authorized by the relevant rights holder. Material excluded from CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 must be identified in a credit line.

Reuse of excluded material requires separate permission from its rights holder unless otherwise permitted by law.

4. Notices and Limitations

Public-domain material and uses permitted by applicable exceptions or limitations do not require compliance with the license.

No warranties are provided. Other rights, including privacy, publicity, and moral rights, may require additional permissions.

5. Governing License

This policy summarizes the licensing arrangements. The full CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license governs licensed use.
